Alexey Psikha - Missing girl on the island

I finished my breakfast and paid the bill. Great. I went back to my condo. I made a cup of tea for myself. It was going well. I checked my money balance. I got the money for my photos. I need new model.

Late evening… I was going to withdraw some cash. I went to the ATM. I got the money. I dialed Jim. Nobody answers. Ok… ok. No problem. I went back to my condo and started waiting.

Late night… I got dressed and took big cash. I'm going to the club. I caught tuk-tuk and got straight to the Walking Street. Damn… so many lights. I was on the WK street, I must go through and find turn.

After some minutes… I found the club. B-54. Yes, it was this club. I got in… and found good place to sit. Time to make order. I ordered orange juice with ice and one red label shot.

Time was going.... I was sitting… damn… who I saw? I saw a good-looking girl. I sent a sign to her. She got it. And she came up to my table. Awesome…

"Want something to drink?" – I asked.

"Yes, one apple juice… pls" – she answered.

I ordered this drink for her. She started drinking slowly… yeah… good drink for cute girl.

"What is your name?" – I asked.

"Cindy" – she answered.

"I'm Jas…" – I said.

"Nice to meet you… Jas" – she said.

"Me too, Cindy" – I said.

"What are you doing here?" – she asked.

"One guy told me about this place" – I answered.

"Oh…" – she said.

"Have you been working here for a long time?" – I asked.

"Yes" – she answered.

"Have boyfriend?" – I asked.

"No" – she answered.

"I see… do you have another job?" – I asked.

"Why you ask?" – she answered.

"Just curious" – I said.

"No, I don't have" – she said.

"Have you been to Koh Chang?" – I asked.

"No" – she answered.

"Do you want to go?" – I asked.

"No" – she answered and turned her head.

"Oh, did I ask something wrong?" – I asked.

"No" – she answered.

"Ok, ok… you don't want to talk about it" – I said.

"Just had an accident there with my friend" – she said.

"Oh… somebody lost there?" – I asked.

"I think… was killed" – she answered.

"Oh my god, this is a real tragedy" – I said.

"Ok, stop here" – she said.

"Ok, ok. No problem. Do you want more drink?" – I asked.

"Yes, can I have same one more?" – she answered.

"Ok" – I said.

I ordered one juice for Cindy. I had a strange feeling… when Cindy told me about her friend lost on the island. I shouldn't have talked about it. Ok… ok. No problem. Keep talking…

"I do photo shoots for websites" – I said.

"Oh… make money?" – she asked.

"Yes, I make some cash" – I answered.

After 20 minutes… Cindy finished drinking her juice. It was late… I didn't know about everything what happened on the island. But I was interested in it. Damn situation… I must say.

"You stay more?" – Cindy asked.

"Maybe 10 minutes more" – I answered.

"I'll go work on" – she said.

"Ok, I'll go too" – I said.

"Will you come back?" – she asked.

"Yes… I will see you again" – I answered.

"Ok, I hope" – she said.

I paid the bill and sent a kiss to her. Now everything was ok. I left the club. Damn… what a day? Situation was awesome. I got to go home. I left Walking Street… and found a road nearby. I caught tuk-tuk…

After 10 minutes… Tuk-tuk was near my condo. I paid for tuk-tuk and went to my room. I had many thoughts… when I was in. First thought – take shower. Good idea, good decision.

After 15 minutes… I made a cup of tea for myself. I had an idea. What idea? I need to meet the guy I played poker with. And talk about this situation. Cindy was a nice girl I talked to. I had an idea to do a photo session with her.

Damn… I checked my laptop again. Nothing was there. I sold my photo set and that's it. What about Jim? Does he know about Cindy? Has he been there since it happened? or?

I took my cell phone and started calling…

Beeps…

"Hello" – Jim answered.

"Hey Jim, how are you?" – I asked.

"Very nice, Jas… and you?" – he answered.

"Good. I been to the B-54 club" – I said.

"Oh… really? Happy for you" – he said.

"Yes, what do you know about the missing girl?" – I asked.

"Oh… I know something… one girl worked in the club… and then… she went missing" – he answered.

"She worked in the club too? I talked to her friend Cindy" – I asked.

"Yes, she did… you better talk to the guy you played poker with" – he answered.

"Oh… do you have contacts?" – I asked.

"We will meet there next Friday" – he answered.

"Anyway, do you have his phone number?" – I asked.

"Ok, I'll send you SMS with his number" – he answered.

"Thanks" – I said.

After some minutes… I got SMS. Damn… good. Time to take shower. Awesome day… I always say that when meet a pretty girl. Damn. After 10 minutes… I laid down on my bed and fell asleep.

Morning… I woke up and went to brush my teeth. I refreshed myself…

After 12 minutes… I'm in the cafe. Rosty wasn't there. I made order. Scrambled eggs, bacon, toasts. Ok. No problem. Time to make call…

Beeps…

"Hello" – the guy answered.

"Hi" – I said.

"Jas?" – the guy asked.

"Yes, it's me" – I answered.

"Hi, hi… how are you doing?" – the guy asked.

"Not bad, and you?" – I answered.

"Cool. What's up?" – he asked.

"I been to the B-54 club, which you recommended" – I answered.

"Oh, cool… Found someone?" – he asked.

"Yes, I met Cindy. She told me about the girl went missing on the island" – I answered.

"Yes, Tina went missing. She has been working there for some period. Somebody invited her on the island and nobody saw her after" – he said.

"Damn…" – I said.

"The man in the old hat was the last person who saw her" – he said.

"The man in the old hat?" – I asked.

"Yes" – he answered.

"Ok, ok… thank you for the information" – I said.

"No problem, man" – he said.

Call was end. Interesting thing, the man in the old hat. Damn… got to see Cindy. She should know. I finished my breakfast. I was ready to pay the bill. I paid the bill. Rosty didn't come.

I went back to my condo. I started my calling to Nancy…

Beeps…

"Hello" – she answered.

"Hi, it's me" – I said.

"Hi, how are you?" – she asked.

"Not bad… and what about you?" – I answered.

"Pretty good" – she said.

"What are you doing?" – I asked.

"Eating fruits" – she answered.

"I hope we can do another photo shoot" – I said.

"Yes, we can… no problem" – she said.

"I will let you know" – I said.

"Sure…" – she said.

"Bye" – I said.

"Bye" – she said.

Call was end. I opened my laptop. I posted information about new photos with Nancy on the forum. Ok… time to take a rest. A little or too much? Too much… my friends.

Evening… I got out of the bed. Cool… drink apple juice? Thai tea? Cold Thai tea. I opened my fridge and found one. I drank one bottle of cold Thai tea. What do you think? Time for dinner.

I got down and went to the cafe. One hamburger and French fries. Ok. No problem. Good dinner. I paid the bill and left the cafe. I was going to the B-54 club. I went back to my room… I changed clothes.

After 20 minutes… I was standing near the club. I got inside. I saw Cindy. She was smiling… I found a place to sit. I ordered one whiskey shot… Good for me, good for this club.

"Hi, Jas" – Cindy said.

"Hi" – I said.

"How are you?" – I asked.

"Good and you?" – she answered.

"Pretty good" – I said.

"Where have you been?" – she asked.

"At home" – I answered.

"Oh, I see…" – she said.

"Can I ask you about your missing friend?" – I asked.

"Yes, you can ask" – she answered.
