Королевский замок на вершине скалы, у подножия которой когда-то колыхалось озеро нечистот, а ныне радует глаз зеленью обширный парк. Длинная улица, известная как Королевская миля и соединяющая замок с дворцом Холируд, обителью Марии Стюарт. Принсес-стрит с ее многочисленными магазинами.
