Тут дается ссылка на униполярную депрессию; диагностические критерии DSM-5: во-первых, у человека почти каждый день на протяжении одного и того же двухнедельного периода большую часть дня наличествовали пять (или более) следующих симптомов; 1) подавленное настроение; 2) существенное снижение интереса или удовольствия от различных видов деятельности; 3) значительное изменение веса и/или аппетита; 4) бессонница или гиперсомния; 5) психомоторное возбуждение или заторможенность; 6) усталость или снижение уровня энергии; 7) ощущение собственной бесполезности или чрезмерной либо необоснованной вины; 8) ослабление способности мыслить или концентрироваться либо нерешительность; 9) повторяющиеся мысли о смерти. Во-вторых, перечисленные выше симптомы вызывают клинически значимый дистресс или ухудшения в социальной, профессиональной или других важных областях функционирования. В-третьих, данный эпизод не объясняется физиологическими эффектами приема психоактивных веществ или другими обстоятельствами состояния здоровья человека.
