Билл Гейтс теряет первое место в списке богатейших людей планеты по версии «Forbes». Отдав очень много денег, все же занимает вторую строчку в рейтинге с личным капиталом 53 миллиарда долларов. По итогам этого года Баффетт находится на третьем месте. Гейтс по-прежнему самый богатый американец.
В конце этого года распространились слухи, что Гейтс вернется в Microsoft. «И не ждите, – отвечает он. – Я слишком люблю свою работу в фонде».
