"Is this wolf really that dangerous?" – a guy of twenty asked a man of thirty

“Of course, he has killed more than a dozen people in recent years, they say that his size is several times larger than an ordinary wolf. Strange, but during all this time there are many legends about this wolf,” the man answered with an ax at the ready.

A man and a guy went into a dark forest in search of a mystical wolf. They were good hunters, so the villagers hired them to hunt the dangerous beast.

The young guy had his own interests in killing this wolf. The mercenaries promised a big bounty for the head of this monster. This would help a father who is seriously ill and is on the verge of death. On the other hand, for an experienced thirty-year-old hunter, it was commonplace.

As they went deeper into the forest, they felt involuntary trembling and fear. This immediately alerted them.

Since ancient times, there have been many stories and legends about this forest. For a long time, all the legends passed into folklore, so young people did not pay attention to them.

As soon as they entered, the weather changed dramatically. A strong wind blew and it seemed that all the flora and fauna were up in arms against them. They walked several hundred meters, feeling uncomfortable. The young hunter already wanted to propose to turn around and go the other way. But the experienced tracker gestured to silence. And immediately pointed with his finger to the place where human bodies were visible. It immediately made everyone focus. With small steps they began to approach this place. Coming closer, they realized that the bodies were fresh enough, but there were no longer living ones among them. An experienced hunter decided to check from what these people died. As soon as he bent down, a noise was heard in the trees nearby. The young hunter raised his rifle, which shot at lightning speed into the shadows.

Suddenly a large animal appeared from behind the trees, which strongly resembled a wolf, but its dimensions were frightening. After the hunter's shot, the beast rushed into the attack, but the experienced hunter had already managed to aim directly at the head. Shot. A deafening howl that thundered throughout the forest. It was a kind of terrible sign. After a couple of minutes, our heroes exchanged glances, as if assessing if someone was hurt, trying to read each other's thoughts.

Next to our heroes lay the corpse of an animal. One would think that everything was over, but an experienced hunter knew that one should not relax ahead of time. They decided to go deep into the forest to make sure that nothing else threatened their lives.

After walking a few kilometers, they noticed a hut in which someone lives. The hunters decided to ask the owners how they got along with a wild beast for so long.

When they entered the house, they did not find anyone, but it was clear that someone had recently been there. The hunters decided to wait for the residents to find out more about these places.
