Если вы впервые читаете про вред от сидения, то можете подумать, что это всё бред. Да как же в конце концов стулья могут кого-либо убить? Возможно, вы ожидали более тривиальное журнальное чтиво. Тем не менее, эта книга подводит итог более чем сорокалетних исследований данной проблемы — работы учёных со всего мира.
Вывод однозначен: человек не создан для того, чтобы сидеть. Так это и с медицинской и с психологической точек зрения. Сидение похоже на ужасную диету. Проблема ещё больше усугубилась с развитием технологий. Если к концу этой книги вы не убедят приведённые факты, то считайте, что я подвёл вас.
