В учебном пособии, подготовленном на основе многолетнего чтения спецкурса, излагается один из важнейших разделов современной психологии – психология когнитивных (познавательных) стилей, характеризующих индивидуальные различия между людьми в способах познания окружающего мира. Описываются история изучения когнитивных стилей и современное состояние стилевого подхода. Предлагается новая трактовка когнитивных стилей как метакогнитивных способностей, определяется их роль в регуляции интеллектуального поведения, в том числе в условиях учебной деятельности школьников.
Для студентов и преподавателей психологических факультетов, специалистов в области общей и дифференцированной психологии, школьных психологов и педагогов.
