Я жалею лишь о том, что родился слишком рано. При таких кардинальных переменах, которые мне пришлось пережить, медицина еще только начинает понимать собственный потенциал. Мне бы хотелось задержаться в этом мире еще лет на сорок и увидеть расцвет своей профессии. Конечно, будь это возможно, я бы и через сорок лет захотел того же. Тенденция к переменам заложена в самой природе клинической медицины, с которой мы имеем дело каждый день, и единственное, в чем можно быть уверенным, — это в том, что она продолжит меняться.
